Payment Terms & Fees

1. Payment Processing

Payments for Paid Coins and Creator earnings are processed by Stripe or other authorized payment processors.

By transacting on the Platform, you agree to:

• Stripe’s Terms of Service
• All applicable processing fees (detailed below)

2. Paid Coins (Purple)

• Purchased using real money
• Non-refundable
• Non-transferable
• No cash value outside the Platform
• Conversion rate: 10 Paid Coins = $1 USD(modifiable by IndE-Book)

3. Reward Coins (Green)

• Earned only by participating in activities or promotions
• Cannot be purchased
• No monetary value
• May have expiration dates or usage limits (communicated in-app)

4. Creator Payments & Fees

🔸 Platform Fee

IndE-Book deducts a Platform Fee from each sale.Default: 30% (editable per agreement).

🔸 Stripe Fees

Stripe deducts the following (subject to change):

• 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction (domestic, USD)
• Variable international/card-brand fees (e.g., +1% for non-US cards)

🔸 Payouts

• Net 30 schedule (paid within 30 days after month-end)
• Minimum payout threshold applies (e.g., $25 USD)
• Subject to successful identity verification (KYC)

🔸 Chargeback Fee

Stripe imposes a chargeback fee (typically $15–$20), which may be deducted from the Creator’s balance.

5. Taxes

• Creators must provide valid tax documentation (e.g., W-9, W-8BEN)
• IndE-Book may collect and remit VAT/GST/Sales Tax where legally required (e.g., EU, UK, AU)
• All other tax reporting and payment obligations remain the responsibility of the Creator.
